AppHug may capture screenshots of the tool you're using to provide step-by-step guidance. These screenshots are:

• Captured only after explicit user action and consent
• Temporarily processed to analyze your screen and generate relevant help
• Not encrypted at rest (we recommend you avoid sharing sensitive data in captured screens)

We never take screenshots silently or in the background.

2. User Intent (Queries)

We store your written requests (e.g., "I want to create a CMS collection") to:

• Improve the accuracy of our instructions
• Allow you to revisit past queries

3. Account Information

When you create an account with AppHug, we collect your:

• Email address
• Google account information (if you log in using Google OAuth)

We do not collect passwords or any unnecessary personal information.

4. Usage Analytics

We may use analytics tools (such as Amplitude) to understand product usage and improve performance.

🤖 How We Use AI

AppHug uses OpenAI GPT-4o to generate contextual instructions based on your intent and screen. Your screenshots and queries may be sent to OpenAI for processing. By using AppHug, you agree to their usage policy and data handling terms.
